Our story
Started in 2003.Still here.
Steve started Arizona Artificial Lawns in 2003, when synthetic grass in Phoenix still meant the bristly green plastic on a putt-putt course. Twenty-three years later, the turf has come a long way — and so has the install standard. We have a hand in the development of every product we sell, we are partnered with Back Nine Greens for the high-end putting work, and we are one of the few installers in the state certified by the Synthetic Turf Council.
The thing that separates a turf yard that still looks great in year fifteen from one that goes wavy in year three is what is underneath. We compact the base in lifts, we document the depth, and we grade for drainage before a single seam gets glued. It is not the glamorous part of the job. It is the entire job.
Most of our customers come from a neighbor pointing across the fence. We’d like to keep it that way.
